Booking Conditions

At Melrose®️, our priority is to ensure your stay is smooth, serene, and free from surprises.
Here are the key conditions to know before booking.
Online Payment

The booking, payment, and deposit terms are defined on each listing. You will need to specify your preferred dates and pay a deposit or the full amount in advance through online payment to confirm your reservation. Accepted payment methods may include credit cards, debit cards, Stripe, or PayPal. The total booking quote includes the nightly rate, cleaning fees, and tourist tax.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation policies may vary from one property to another. You will be informed of the terms, deadlines, and any cancellation fees on each listing, prior to booking.

Security Deposit

A security deposit may be requested to cover potential damages or additional charges. This amount is temporarily held on your credit card and will be refunded after the property has been inspected.

Property Damage

After check-out, a member of the Melrose team will inspect the property to ensure it is returned in its original condition. In case of damage, additional costs will be charged either at key return or via the credit card provided at booking.

Occupancy Rules

No parties, events, or gatherings are allowed in the accommodations. Please respect the maximum number of guests allowed in the property. If you choose to leave before the end of your stay for personal reasons, no partial refund can be granted — but please inform the Bajobreak agency.

Pets

Although we love dogs, cats, and all furry friends, pets are not allowed in our accommodations. Please contact customer service for any special requests.

Check-in and Check-out

Check-in and check-out times are specified on each listing. Check-in starts at 3:00 PM, and we are available even for late arrivals. Check-out is at 10:00 AM. If you wish to extend your stay, please contact the Melrose team as early as possible.

Contact information and customer service procedures will be provided upon booking. We communicate by phone or email.

Required Documents

After booking, we will request identity confirmation with a passport, driver’s license, or ID matching the guest name. You will also be required to sign our rental agreement.

Tourist Tax

The tourist tax must also be paid at the time of full booking payment. The amount depends on the number of nights and the classification of the furnished rental. More details are available on the Bayeux Intercom website: www.bayeuxintercom.taxessejour.fr.
