Farm-fresh shopping and local producers

If you love good food (and we know you do!), nothing beats the quality of products straight from our local producers.

In Normandy, short supply chains are everywhere — and that’s a good thing! Cheeses, seasonal vegetables, meats, cider, jams, yogurts, ice cream… it’s all here!

Here are a few of our favorite spots to fill your basket, chat with passionate producers, and treat yourself to simple, delicious pleasures.

Brasserie Baya – Local brewery in Normandy

If you love good things and great conversations, head to Bayeux for a stop at Brasserie Baya, where Franck and Thierry — two passionate brewers — run a 100% local craft brewery.

In their workshop, they lovingly brew bold, generous beers using ingredients like malt grown right in Bayeux. Every sip tells a story of the region — a blend of craftsmanship and local flavor.

🍺 The visit is truly worth it: you'll get to discover each step of the brewing process, chat with the brewers (as friendly as they are passionate), and of course, taste their creations on site. And trust us — it’s hard to leave empty-handed…

A wonderful place to raise a glass to Normandy — always in moderation, but with great pleasure!
